		<description>&lt;p&gt;I think recognising the benefits of both Wikipedia and traditional sources of information, i.e. books, is the way forward. I think problems stem from many children not using books and more importantly enjoying books, from a young age. Instead &quot;computer skills&quot; are encouraged and children become more compotent at using the Internet as a source of information.
Also, the validity of data on Wikipedia is an issue and the reason why I use it when interested in something personally but never for academic use. The department I studied in at university greatly frowned upon the use of Wikipedia as a source and I suppose this view has left an impression with me.&lt;/p&gt;
